Shikhar Dhawan, born on December 5, 1985, in Delhi, India, is a stylish left-handed opening batsman known for his flamboyant strokeplay and consistency in ICC tournaments. He made his international debut in 2010 and gained fame with a record-breaking century on Test debut in 2013. Dhawan was the top scorer in the 2013 Champions Trophy, helping India win the title. Renowned for his signature moustache and on-field charisma, he has been a key player in ODIs, especially in partnerships with Rohit Sharma.
