Martin Guptill is a dynamic New Zealand opening batsman known for his explosive stroke play and consistency in white-ball cricket. Born on September 30, 1986, in Auckland, Guptill has been a key figure in New Zealand’s limited-overs setup since his debut in 2009. He holds the record for the highest individual score in a World Cup match (237* vs West Indies in 2015) and is among the top ODI run-scorers for New Zealand. Despite losing two toes in a childhood accident, Guptill rose to become one of the most feared openers in international cricket.
