Hashim Amla is one of South Africa’s most elegant and accomplished batsmen, revered for his composure, technique, and humility. Born on March 31, 1983, in Durban, Amla became the first South African to score a triple century in Test cricket, with 311* against England in 2012. Over a decorated international career, he scored over 18,000 runs across formats and is among South Africa’s all-time greats.
